On April 11 in Kirovsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, at the headquarters of the Ghost Brigade, a meeting was held between Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Donetsk People’s Republic Stanislav Retinsky, Tatiana Petrovskaya, mother of Vsevolod Petrovsky, and Ghost Commander Alexey Markov (Dobri). During the meeting, Stanislav Retinsky gave the unit commander a copy of the book “Donbass in the World Confrontation: A Class Approach,” the correspondent of “Forward” reports.
“When I arrived in Donbass in 2014, I didn’t realize that the war would last for years. However, the military conflict has lasted longer than the Great Patriotic War. During military service I have gathered a large library. And I am very pleased that among the books there is one that is dedicated to the memory of Vsevolod Petrovsky — a fighter of the Ghost Brigade,” said Alexey Markov.
During the meeting, the Ghost commander also spoke about the current situation on the front line, and the incessant provocations by the Ukrainian army. But he noted the high morale of troops in his unit. He thanked Tatiana Petrovskaya for raising such a son. According to him, Vsevolod Petrovsky is an example for the current generation and will certainly be an example for future generations as well.
