Уважаемые товарищи!
Коммунисты и беспартийные граждане Донецкой Народной Республики сердечно приветствуют и поздравляют лидера Кубинской революции товарища Фиделя Кастро, отмечающего сегодня свое 90-летие, всех коммунистов и весь героический народ Кубы.
Между нашими народами есть много общего.
Кубинцы отстояли идеалы революции, самоотверженно продолжают строить социализм, несмотря на многолетнюю экономическую блокаду, организованную США.
Граждане Донецкой Народной Республики решают задачи мирного строительства, на практике реализуют принципы свободы, равенства и социальной справедливости, несмотря на развязанную против нас войну и экономическую блокаду со стороны киевского национал-фашистского режима.
Мы восхищены стойкостью кубинского народа и его лидера, легендарного революционера, крупнейшего политика современности, пламенного борца за справедливый мир, демократию и социализм товарища Фиделя Алехандро Кастро Рус.
Успехи социалистического строительства на Кубе неопровержимо доказывают, что обществу, развивающемуся на принципах равенства, справедливости, коллективизма, дружбы народов принадлежит будущее, а значит, капитализму есть жизнеспособная альтернатива.
Героическая история Кубинской революции вдохновляет нас, граждан Донецкой Народной Республики, на борьбу, служит непреходящим напоминанием о том, что народ может добиться лучшей жизни, взяв свою судьбу в свои собственные руки.
Мы внимательно изучаем опыт и решительно поддерживаем курс на обновление кубинского социализма. Мы уверены, что реализация мер, одобренных VII съездом Компартии Кубы, откроет качественно новый этап ее истории, укрепит ее экономику, государственность и международный авторитет.
Кубинский народ делом доказывает свою приверженность ценностям гуманизма. Медицинская система Кубы является лучшей не только в Латинской Америке, но и является желанным ориентиром для большинства стран мира. Кубинские врачи самоотверженно трудятся во многих странах, помогая им справляться с эпидемиями и последствиями стихийных бедствий. Вдохновленная товарищем Фиделем Кастро операция «Милагро» («Чудо») вернула зрение огромному числу людей. Латиноамериканский медицинский институт в Гаване бесплатно готовит врачей для многих стран мира. Куба оказала медицинскую помощь десяткам тысяч людей, пострадавших в результате аварии на Чернобыльской АЭС, среди которых большинство дети.
В этот день, когда прогрессивное мировое сообщество отмечает 90-летие товарища Фиделя Кастро, мы выражаем солидарность с Кубой и уверенность в том, что нашим дружественным народам будет сопутствовать успех в борьбе за социальную справедливость и народовластие.

The resolution of the solemn meeting of citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution comrade Fidel Castro
Dear comrades!
The Communists and non-party citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic cordially greet and congratulate the Leader of the Cuban Revolution comrade Fidel Castro, who is today celebrating his 90th anniversary, all Communists and the whole heroic people of Cuba.
Our peoples have much in common.
The Cubans have defended the ideals of the Revolution, selflessly continue building socialism despite the economic blockade lasting many years and organized by the USA.
The citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic are solving the problems of peaceful construction, putting into practice the principles of freedom, equality and social justice despite the war unleashed against us and the economic blockade maintained by the Kiev nationalist-fascist regime.
We admire the steadfastness of the Cuban people and their Leader, a legendary revolutionary, a most prominent politician of modern times, a fervent fighter for a just world, democracy and socialism comrade Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz.
The advances of the socialist construction in Cuba prove irrefutably that the future belongs to the society which develops according to the principles of equality, justice, collectivism, the friendship of peoples and, consequently, capitalism has a vigorous alternative.
The heroic history of the Cuban Revolution inspires us, citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic, to struggle, serves as a permanent reminder that the people can secure a better life if they take their fate into their own hands.
We attentively study the experience and decidedly support the policy of updating Cuban socialism. We are sure that the implementation of the measures approved by the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba will open a qualitatively new stage in its history, strengthen its economy, statehood and international standing.
The Cuban people prove their commitment to the values of humanism with their deeds. Cuba’s health care system is not only the best one in Latin America, but also a desired model for most countries of the world. Cuban doctors work selflessly in many countries, helping them to cope with epidemics and the consequences of natural calamities. Operation “Milagro” (“Miracle”) inspired by comrade Fidel Castro restored sight to a huge number of people. The Latin American Medical School in Havana prepares doctors for many countries of the world gratis. Cuba rendered medical assistance to tens of thousands of people affected by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the majority of whom were children.
Today, when the progressive world community is celebrating the 90th anniversary of comrade Fidel Castro, we express solidarity with Cuba and confidence that our peoples, who are bound by ties of friendship, will be successful in the struggle for social justice and people’s power.
